Best of Omaha was designed and implemented in 1992 as a true recognition award program. It consisted of paper ballots with just 30 voting categories. Fast forward to 2024, 32 years later, Best of Omaha continues to be, by far, the largest opinion poll in the city, with more than 75,000 unique each year.
