After 35 years in the insurance industry, Tom Greco announced his retirement effective December 31, 2020.
Tom began insurance career in 1985 when he joined his late father, Michael Greco, in running Greco Insurance Agency in Papillion, NE. In 2009, Greco Insurance was acquired by UNICO, establishing UNICO’s Omaha office.
During Tom’s tenure in the insurance industry, he served as an insurance advisor, “Big I” of Nebraska (IIAN) President, Sarpy County Chamber of Commerce Board of Director, a CISR instructor and shareholder at UNICO.
Tom’s favorite part of his career was explaining the importance of having a sound insurance program to his clients before they experience a loss, so that when they were to have a loss, he knew the client’s business and family were protected.
The industry will miss Tom for his involvement and leadership in the “Big i” of Nebraska, as will the many students he taught through his CISR prep classes—but you’ll still find him at the “Huskateers” tailgating spot before Husker football games!
Debbie Trusty has also retired on December 31, 2020 after 32 years in the telecommunication industry.
Debbie joined our communications team, UNITEL, in 2015 and served as a shareholder and risk advisor for the organization. She has been dedicated to the telecommunication industry for over 32 years. Debbie helped enhance the services and products UNITEL offers to protect our clients in addition to playing a key role with our national and state associations.
