UNICO Group is pleased to announce the addition of Ezra Schlecht to the team as Safety and Loss Control Consultant. Ezra brings over a decade of experience in construction and general industry safety to his new role. 

At UNICO, Ezra will support our clients in reducing workplace risks through tailored OSHA compliance training, comprehensive safety program development and regulatory compliance guidance. His hands-on expertise in workplace safety procedures, fall protection systems and safety leadership will guide clients in establishing and maintaining effective safety management programs that protect both employees and business interests.

Before joining UNICO, Ezra built a strong foundation in workplace safety through his work with Nebraska’s OSHA On-Site Consultation Program and a variety of roles in the private sector, where he provided guidance and support to organizations seeking to improve their safety practices. His consultative approach is grounded in real-world experience and a deep understanding of regulatory standards. Ezra also brings proven leadership skills developed during his service as a Machine Gun Team Leader in the United States Marine Corps. 

Ezra is an OSHA Authorized Trainer and holds several prestigious certifications, including Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO), Safety and Health Specialist (SSH), and Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS). He is currently furthering his expertise by pursuing a degree in Occupational Health & Safety at Columbia Southern University.
